Studying lacquerware in high school and sculpture at Kanazawa College of Art, I trained in Gifu, a region renowned for its tradition of wagasa. In 2023, I opened Wagasa Kasamori in my hometown of Kanazawa to share the beauty of wagasa with more people. As the number of wagasa artisans continues to decline, it is difficult for me alone to nurture successors. However, I believe that sparking interest in wagasa, even among just a few more people, is vital for the future of this craft and for sharing Japanese culture with the world. At Kasamori, we offer hands-on experience programs as a way to discover the charm of wagasa. Creating your own original wagasa becomes a truly special memory or gift. Even if you are not confident in making things by hand, a skilled craftsman will support you throughout the process. Please feel free to reach out and enjoy this unique experience.

高校で漆を、金沢美術大学で彫刻を学び、卒業後に和傘づくりが盛んな岐阜県で修行した経験を活かして、和傘の魅力をより多くの方に届けるため.2023年、生まれ故郷の金沢に「和傘 傘森」をオープンいたしました。 和傘職人が減っていくなか、私ひとりの力で後継者を育てることは難しい現状ですが、和傘に興味を持ってくださる方が少しでも増えることが、和傘の今後にとっても、日本文化の発信においても重要なことだと思っております。傘森では、和傘の魅力を知る入口として、各種体験プランをご用意しております。 自分だけのオリジナル和傘づくりは、思い出としても、ギフトとしても特別なものとなります。ものづくりが不得意な方でも、熟練の職人がサポートいたします。どなた様でもお気軽にお問い合わせください。
