Our shop is conveniently located right next to Higashi Chaya District, making it easy to combine with your sightseeing plans.

Experience crafting your very own wagasa through the same process used by artisans. You’ll choose your favorite washi paper and try your hand at applying it to the umbrella frame. Once completed, you can take your finished wagasa home with you on the same day.
職人と同じ工程で自分だけの和傘をつくる体験。職人による説明を受けながら、お好みの和紙を選んで、骨組みに紙を貼る作業に挑戦します。仕上げは職人が行い、後日発送いたします。
Please make your reservation through our online booking form at least 10 days in advance, selecting your preferred date and time. Once we confirm your booking, kindly visit us at the appointed time. No special items are required—aprons and protective garments are provided, ensuring that even guests in kimono may enjoy the experience with ease.

You’ll begin by selecting the washi paper to be applied to your wagasa. We use handcrafted washi made in Nakanoto, in northern Ishikawa, including several unique varieties that are embedded with real leaves. By choosing your favorite combination, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind wagasa found nowhere else in the world.
和傘に貼り付ける和紙と糸をお選びいただきます。和紙は石川県北部の中能登で作られたものを使用し、本物の葉を漉き込んだ漉き込み和紙が数種類ございます。お好みの組み合わせを選び、世界に一つだけの和傘を作ります。
Use our own handmade paste to carefully attach the washi paper to the wagasa’s frame.
自家製の糊を使って傘の骨に和紙を貼っていきます。職人がお手伝いをしますので、ご安心ください。
Choose the decorative elements for your wagasa, including the inner thread decorations and the top paper. Please select them while imagining the colors and overall look of the finished product.
内側の糸飾りを選び、頭紙を選んでいただきます。完成した時の色味をイメージしながらお選びくださいませ。お客様がお選びになった飾りを使って、後日職人が仕上げを行います。
After the experience, you can enjoy a photoshoot using agasa both inside the shop and in the surrounding area.
体験終了後は、店内や周囲で和傘を使った記念撮影をお楽しみいただけます。
After the workshop, artisans will complete the drying, lacquering, and finishing process over the course of one to two months.
Once your umbrella is finished, it will be shipped to your specified address in Japan or overseas.
For international shipping, we use EMS, and delivery usually takes about one week.
Please note that delivery times may vary depending on the destination country or region, and additional fees may apply.
体験終了から1〜2ヶ月で職人が乾燥、漆を塗り、仕上げを行います。完成後は、国内外のご指定の住所へ発送いたします。海外への発送はEMSを利用し、到着までに1週間程度かかります。なお、国や地域によって到着時間が前後し、手数料が発生する場合がありますので、あらかじめご了承ください。

Yes, rentals are available for photography purposes only. The rental fee is ¥3,300 (tax included) per umbrella per day. They are mainly rented for photo shoots such as weddings or pre-wedding sessions. Shipping can be arranged for an additional fee. If you plan to rent multiple umbrellas or for several days, please feel free to consult us — price adjustments may be possible.
撮影目的の方のみ和傘のレンタルをしております。1日1本3300円(税込)となります。主に結婚式、前撮りなど撮影目的の方にレンタルさせていただいております。発送の場合は送料別となりますが、レンタル日数が多い場合、またはレンタル本数が多い場合は金額の調整が可能ですのでご相談くださいませ。
