Select your favorite design from our collection of vibrantly colored washi papers, and create a 30cm miniature wagasa using traditional adhesive techniques. Once dried, the umbrella is carefully folded and refined, completing your work of art. You may take your handcrafted wagasa home with you on the very same day.

色鮮やかな和紙からお好きなものを選んでいただき、糊を使って30cmのミニ傘を作ります。乾燥後は傘に折り目をつけて畳み、完成。当日お持ち帰りができます。

1. Up to 3 days before the experience: No charge
2. Up to the day before: 20%
3. On the day of the experience or in the case of a no-show without notice: 100%

体験の流れ

Reservation & Arrival / ご予約・ご来店

Please make your reservation through our online booking form at least seven days in advance, selecting your preferred date and time. Once we confirm your booking, kindly visit us at the appointed time. No special items are required—aprons and protective garments are provided, ensuring that even guests in kimono may enjoy the experience with ease.

7日前までに当サイトの予約フォームからご希望の日時を選択してご予約ください。予約確定のお返事をいたしましたら、ご予約の日時に当店までご来店ください。お持ち物は必要ございません。割烹着、エプロンもご用意してありますのでお着物のお客様も安心して体験できます。

Selecting Your Paper / 和紙を選ぶ

Paste the paper / のりで和紙を貼る

Use our own handmade paste to carefully attach the washi paper to the wagasa’s frame.

自家製の糊を使って傘の骨に和紙を貼っていきます。職人がお手伝いをしますので、ご安心ください。

Break & Dry / 憩休→乾燥＆撮影

The umbrellas are then placed in a dryer to let the paste set. Drying takes about 15 minutes, during which you can touch and explore the large umbrellas or take photos while strolling around the town.

のりを乾かすための乾燥機にいれます。乾燥時間は15分間となりますので、その間に大きな傘に触れたり、傘を持って町を散策して写真撮影をしたりすることができます。

Decoration / 飾り付け

Once the umbrellas are dry, you can add decorative elements to personalize your creation.

乾燥が終わったら、傘に飾りをつけてオリジナルの和傘に仕上げていきます。

Your handcrafted umbrella is yours to take home the very same day—an enduring keepsake of your time with us.

完成した傘はそのままお持ち帰りいただけます。

Reservation

体験予約

Please select a date and time marked as “Available” on the calendar and fill out the reservation form. Your booking will be confirmed once you receive a confirmation message from our staff.
カレンダーで「予約可能」と表示されている日時を選択し、予約フォームにご記入ください。担当者からの確認のご連絡をもって予約完了となります。

Can I make a reservation on the same day? / 当日予約も可能ですか？

Yes, same-day reservations are possible if there are open slots. Please call us to check availability.

Can we join as a group?/ グループで体験できますか？

Yes, up to four people can join the experience per group.

1グループ4名様まで体験にご参加いただけます。

Is parking available? / 駐車場はありますか？

We don’t have a private parking lot. Please use nearby coin-operated parking spaces.

専用駐車場はございません。お近くのコインパーキングをご利用ください。

What payment methods do you accept? / お支払い方法は？

Payment can be made after the experience by cash or credit card.

体験後に現金・クレジットカードにてお支払いをお願いいたします。

Do you offer wagasa rentals? / 和傘のレンタルはしていますか？

Yes, rentals are available for photography purposes only. The rental fee is ¥3,300 (tax included) per umbrella per day. They are mainly rented for photo shoots such as weddings or pre-wedding sessions. Shipping can be arranged for an additional fee. If you plan to rent multiple umbrellas or for several days, please feel free to consult us — price adjustments may be possible.

撮影目的の方のみ和傘のレンタルをしております。1日1本3300円(税込)となります。主に結婚式、前撮りなど撮影目的の方にレンタルさせていただいております。発送の場合は送料別となりますが、レンタル日数が多い場合、またはレンタル本数が多い場合は金額の調整が可能ですのでご相談くださいませ。
